Here’s a confession: I come by the name Fancy, honestly. It’s not exactly a badge of honour, but it’s the truth. I'm one of those people with champagne taste and beer money.
It's not that I pursue luxury just for the sake of it, but I definitely seek beautifully crafted items that make sense and bring me joy without completely derailing my bank account!
It’s the mix that makes it all work - the thrill of finding something that looks expensive but isn’t, or a splurge so perfect you never think twice about it.
For me, it’s about blending practicality with beauty and function. Organization isn't just a habit; it’s an extension of how I curate my life - balancing quality and value with intention.
Some things can, and should, be more affordable. But others? Worth every penny. A thoughtfully chosen item - one that combines elegance, practicality, and durability is super satisfying. For me, it’s about selecting with purpose.
If you’re escaping winter this season, first of all, lucky you.
Second, here’s my hunted and gathered list of travel essentials, from splurge-worthy gems to budget-friendly finds. But really, I think it’s all about balance: finding items that elevate your experience without overcomplicating your life.
I can’t help but rave about Cadence capsules and Monos packing cubes. They’re both total game changers. Born an organizer, I love how these products satisfy my need to keep everything in its place while adding a touch of sophistication.

Monos packing cubes are absolutely amazing! I hardly even need to unpack. Everything is perfectly organized in its breathable, soft sided yet sturdy little cube. I just unzip them and leave most of my stuff right inside. It’s like having a portable, beautifully designed wardrobe. Find them here!
And Cadence? Oh, Cadence. Magnetic, leakproof, customizable and TSA approved, these little capsules are the hero of my toiletry game. They make packing liquids enjoyable. I use them on getaway weekends, week long trips and a month-long holiday last summer. I can’t stop talking about them. But wait, there’s more: Cadence has introduced their newest game changer, The Parcel. This system of bags does it all. Check them out, and you’ll see why.
These little tools aren’t just about organization; they’re about making travel a little easier, better, and honestly, a lot more fun. For me, that’s what it’s all about: finding joy in the details, and striking the perfect balance between indulgence and practicality. So, pack your bags (with cubes, and Parcels, obviously) and enjoy the ride!
